Rosliza joined PADU in January 2015 as manager of the Programme Management Team (PMT). She was promoted to Director of Teachers & School Leaders Sector in June 2016. Her current portfolio includes overseeing initiatives related to the training and capacity development of teachers and school leaders. She was also instrumental in assisting the Teacher Training Institute Malaysia (IPGM) in setting up the Transformation Management Office (TMO) in IPGM; a revolutionary move of introducing a programme management unit within a division in Ministry of Education (MoE) Malaysia.
Rosliza has 23 years of teaching and educational management experience. She began her career as a secondary school teacher and had taught in rural and urban schools. In 2002, she joined the Curriculum Development Division as an assistant director. Her job scope covered curriculum design and development and played a key role in the development of the English Language teaching courseware for the PPSMI programme.
Her experience also comprise serving the Johor Education Department (JPNJ) in 2009. In JPNJ, she was tasked with two roles which were the Assistant Director of private education and also the Head of International Relations Unit. She played a significant role in the establishment of the International Relations Unit, which is a unit to drive the Internationalisation of Schools Programme in Johor.
In 2013, Rosliza served as a Federal School Inspector in the School Inspectorate Division (JNJK), MoE. Her tenure in JNJK provided her with valuable experience in monitoring compliance of standards, inspecting and evaluating school system as well as providing advice to school administration which encompassed all aspects of teaching, learning, assessment and management of schools.
She received her masters degree from University of Malaya in 2006, and was posted to the Policy & International Relations Division (BDHA), Ministry of Education (MoE), holding a portfolio which provided her with the opportunity to network, collaborate and expand her professional circle internationally. During her tenure in BDHA, she led the secretariat team in assisting the negotiation of agreement in education between MoE Malaysia and MoE of Singapore, Thailand, Oman and Iran, and the renewal of agreement with MoE China and Indonesia.
